What does a System Administrator A system administrator, often shortened to 'sysadmin' or simply managed, is responsible for controlling the network. You will probably not be expected to correct the tables for many users, but you will be sure that everything works in the big picture. You will be responsible for network security, traffic management, a safe way to return if something bad happens, and much more.
